Premier League

Fernando Torres is out for the rest of the season, after undergoing a knee operation on Sunday night. Arsenal lost to wigan 3-2 as well meaning it looks like its a two horse race for the premier league title between Chelsea and Manchester United.

Update

liverpool champions league spot looking pretty unlikely after a draw with Fulham. Portsmouth have made it to the Final of FA cup despite their relegation looking likely and their financial woes.

Liverpool and Fulham are both through to the EUROPA league semi-finals, somehow dirk kuyt and lucas both scored.. the odds on that one would have been extraordinary!

Champions League Results

Great win for Barcelona against Arsenal winning 6-3 on Aggregate. Bayern Munich upset a Manchester United team that lacked urgency, especially with Rooney being subbed off early... Inter Milan are also through to the next round.

Player of the Round is definitely Lionel Messi with an amazing 4 goals against Arsenal. A true player of the world game.

Very excited to have made this blog!


Our new blog will be very futuristic, the main features will be discussed below in our post.

The layout - three columns with a picture as the header.

Colours - Our colours are very enticing, drawing the blog viewer to our content. A mix of light and dark colours especially green, orange and blue enhance this.

Backgrounds - We chose our background because the little circles reminds the viewer of soccer balls.

Logo - Our logo will be a soccer ball.

Tags - Our tags will be very informative about the items in our blog.
